The West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services
The West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services, located at Holly Grove Mansion, is a cabinet-level agency within State Government and acts as the lead entity for programs serving older West Virginians. A Commissioner appointed by the Governor is the chief administrative officer and oversees all program and fiscal operations. In addition to agency staff members, the Bureau consists of a 15-member Advisory Council on Aging. The important programs and services offered through the Bureau of Senior Services, as well as budgetary information, are outlined in our Annual Progress Report contained in this section.
